Sustainability Information
We’re working with Frank Wild, a sustainability-led events agency, to deliver Assembly and measure the environmental impact of our gathering at Glenworth Valley. While we know that coming together in person, including flights and travel, has an environmental impact, we believe building our community through face-to-face connection is essential. From material selection and catering to waste management, Frank Wild applies circular design principles and responsible procurement to minimise emissions wherever possible. Using their own custom-built carbon calculator, they measure all emissions associated with Assembly, covering materials, waste, energy, transport, food and beverage, travel and accommodation; and provide us with a comprehensive impact report afterward. This measurement helps us understand where our largest impacts occur and guides better decisions for future community gatherings. For the emissions we can’t avoid, we actively support climate action through contributions to carbon abatement and reforestation projects.
Our Mission for the Event
At this event, we aim to inspire and motivate participants to take meaningful actions to drive positive environmental and social impact. We’re curating opportunities for the B Corp community to drive their own projects forward.
Why This Matters
We want the positive impact of this event to resonate both at Assembly and beyond. Our goal is to benefit not just the participants, but also the regional community and outwards.
